Fees and Payment

EDITING: I take on projects large and small. $.08 per word.

My editing services are comprehensive and include extensive developmental editing as well as ongoing coaching as part of the service. If you are tackling a larger project, such a book-length manuscript, this is likely the option for you. Generally, clients who pay a fee for editing/coaching for a full book find that this is more cost-effective in the long run than if they had paid for services on an hourly basis.

COACHING: I offer single coaching sessions as well as coaching packages for clients who are interested in ongoing intensive guidance. I am available to work with you via telephone no matter where you are in the world, or in person depending on your location.

—$69 one-hour session

—$199 for a package that includes four (4) one-hour phone sessions. The package offers you a discounted rate. You may purchase as many packages as you need.

WRITING and GHOSTWRITING: My rates vary according to the size, scope, and duration of the project. Please contact me with a description of your project and the kind of writing you would like me to do for you; I will provide you with an estimate and we can go from there. Once you’ve determined that you’d like to work with me, I will construct a contract that details the scope of the work I am doing for you, a timeline, and the total fee for the project.

METHOD of PAYMENT: I accept payments made by personal check or Paypal. Please read on for details.

––Payments for editing, writing, and ghostwriting are made via Paypal or personal check if you are located in the United States, or Paypal if you are located outside the United States. For large projects, such as book manuscripts, half of the total payment is made at the beginning of our work together, and the other half is made when we have reached a mid-point in the project.

––Payments for coaching are made via Paypal 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If cancelling or re-scheduling an appointment, please allow 24 hours notice.
